Professional/Business Applicants must read and agree to the following terms:

Service providers who wish to join as Professional Members of the VIF are required to complete the following application for membership.  The VIF reserves the right to reject applications that are incomplete or found to contain factual errors or omissions that materially affect the application.  All questions must be answered and submitted to the VIF.

The VIF reserves the right to publish the above as part of its inventors resource information.

Use of the VIF name and logo:

On Websites:
Professional members may use the VIF name/logo on their website provided there is no implied endorsement, partnership or special relationship between the member and the VIF.  The logo and any text using the VIF name must be linked to the Professional Membership Listings page.

Any failure to promptly correct any misuse of the VIF logo or name may result in cancelation of membership or the denial of permission to use the logo.  Links to any page using the VIF name or logo must be sent to the VIF for our records.

On Printed Material:
Professional Members may use the VIF name/logo on printed material provided there is no implied endorsement, partnership or special relationship between the member and the VIF.  Sample use must be sent to the VIF for prior approval.  Member agrees to destroy any printed material containing the VIF name or logo if membership as a Professional Member is no longer active.

Members agree the the VIF is the sole arbiter of the permitted use of its logo.
