Imagination Made Real Expo 2010

The Virginia Inventors Forum, Inc. held its first trade show on October 23, 2010 in Williamsburg, VA.  The event was action packed with incredible speakers and fantastic exhibits.  The creativity of innovative minds was greatly inspired, hence the event was a huge success.  We hope to bring you more events like these in the future.  Become a member of VIF and get involved today.

**PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS - WINNERS**

 Every attendee to the EXPO will have a chance to VOTE for the People’s Choice Awards.

Every inventor, artist, musician, author, innovator
and creator will be eligible for the following awards:

 Idea, Invention, or Creative Work MOST LIKELY TO SUCCEED
WINNER:  Scott Chamberlain of Howard’s Plumbing
This winner of this very special award will receive a prize valued at $1500: the preparation of a Provisional Patent by the law firm of Bambi Faivre Walters, PC.

 BEST PRESENTATION of an idea, invention or creative work at the Expo
WINNER:  Donna Lawson
This award winner will receive a prize valued at over $500: A 3 to 5 minute video, prepared by John Bundy Creative, telling the inventor’s story and their creative journey. This video could be used on a web site or for marketing purposes to help sell or advertise the product.

 Wackiest idea
WINNER:  Shannon Kirschbaum
This award is for the most unusual, craziest, wackiest idea, invention, or creative work.
